LES Makerspace
LES Makerspace
LES Makerspace is an LTEF grant funded space in our Media Center. The space is one of many areas at LES where we allow our students the opportunity to learn and grow by using hands-on methods and technology. We use the design process to create for a purpose and learn from our mistakes. Our resources range from low tech materials like cardboard and tape to high tech materials like LittleBits and Sphero. The Makerspace features a Lego wall, Hoki Stools, tubs of resources, ipads, and books to help us explore the possibilities available to us. Some of our projects this year included Leprechaun traps, Coding Bee Bots, and building and coding Lego We-Do projects.
